It’s not very common to encounter a large ship … that’s not in the water.
Garðar BA 64 is the oldest steel ship in Iceland. It was built in Norway in 1912.
Today it’s rusting away on a beach in Patreksfjordur, in the Western Fjords of Iceland, where it beached in 1981.
The combination of rusting steel and white paint asks to be photographed in color, but I also like the B&W version.
